Snooze

Snooze keeps the clock running on the current task without idle prompts. Use it for meetings, workshops or reading on paper: anything where you're working but not touching the keyboard.

Start a snooze​

Right-click the tracker bar, choose Snooze, then pick:

  • 1 hour, 4 hours or 8 hours,
  • Until 17:00,
  • Custom… to choose a duration or an end time.

You can only snooze while tracking. While a snooze is active, the bar shows a small zᴢ after the task name, and hovering it shows when the snooze ends.

End a snooze​

  • Early: right-click the bar and choose Exit snooze. Normal idle detection starts again from that moment.
  • On time: the snooze ends by itself. If you're still away when it ends, the next gap starts at the snooze end time, so the snoozed period stays on your task.

A snooze survives restarts. If TimeTrove is restarted during a snooze, it carries on tracking. If the snooze ran out while the app was closed, you'll be asked about the time after it ended.
